Onhardt Tobacco is a tobacco merchant vertically integrated from FLUE CURED VIRGINIA (FCV) tobacco production, which is contract farming, tobacco buying, tobacco warehousing and logistics, blending, green leaf threshing and cut rag. Our business objective is to provide equal response to our clientele world over with products that match their requirements and at the right cost, quality and quantity. Our products range from flue cured Virginia T&T, filler grades, flavour/semi-flavour grades, cut rag blends, expanded stems, short & long stems and fines F8 & F16.

Onhardt Tobacco is licensed as a tobacco contracting company. We are mainly concentrating on small scale tobacco farmers who needs great support in every stage of sustainable tobacco production. Our selected small scale tobacco farmers are provided with all necessary tobacco inputs (finance, fuel, coal, chemicals and extensive agronomy assistance) and sign an agreement with Onhardt Tobacco Company as per requirements of the regulatory board, which is the Tobacco Industry And Marketing Board (TIMB) to grow a specific amount of tobacco. Onhardt strictly adheres to and complies with the rules and regulations of the board. A team of designated managers, supervisors, and field officers work closely with farmers to provide support throughout the entire process of production and selling tobacco. The ready tobacco is sold according to the grade classification on the price matrix provided by TIMB. Our workforce are men and women who usually work together as a family. Rural women in Zimbabwe have immensely contributed to the agricultural sector for many years, but mostly as laborers on their own farms, hence Onhardt tobacco saw it fit to support the woman by giving her enough resources to use for labour on the farm, like cash which they use to pay to those who come to assist on their farms. Women play a significant role in tobacco farming in Zimbabwe. They perform many tasks in tobacco production and play key role in decision making about tobacco farming. We are also licensed as an Auction Tobacco Buyer, through the TIMB, this allows us to actively participate in purchasing additional tobacco at Auction Sales Floors.
